Biography
After a PhD in political science in 2012, at the North Caucasus Academy of Public Administration, Saida Sirazhudinova was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the South-Russian Institute of Management, before teaching at the Daghestan State University (2016–22) and at INALCO, Paris (since 2022). In the 2010s, she managed several NGOs including the Daghestani branch of the Russian Society for Global Studies, while participating in the Antiterrorist Commission of the Republic of Daghestan (2017–21). The author of some forty sociological surveys and studies for a wide range of organisations, she specialised in the development of civil society, confessional institutions, the promotion of gender equality and of the rights of vulnerable persons and groups in the Northeast Caucasus.
